A documentation of an installation. The documentation of an operation performed on the “body” of a house. The viewer is not allowed to see the installation directly and can view it only through photographs. The photos look like recordings of the space as it was found, but they turn out to register a manipulation. The interiors were fabricated so that the viewer has an impression as if they were trying to turn away from him, or go beyond themselves, outside.
By turning the objects that give the interior a personal character (pictures, books), the space has been partly deprived of information on its owners and inhabitants. Its private character of a home has been erased in favour of making the space autonomous (personification – as if the space could turn away on its own, to hide certain meanings).
